It can also be used for decorative and ground cover. It helps retain moisture and helps loosen and aerate heavy or clay soils.

Directions for use

* Use railroad ties, stones, or some other type of material to enclose the bed area. Fill bed area with Hood Top Soil to desired height ( typically 6-8 inches above ground ). Apply 3 inches of Hood Mushroom Compost on top of your bed and till it in 5-6 inches deep.
